Simple Website Design Project

This is one of my college's group work for Indonesian's Art History 2 Subject (during my 2nd Semester of University).
To be honest, this project is kinda challenging for me because we didn't get any subject about creating a website (not for animation's major student, but there's for new media's major student).

Clueless about how to build a website, I'd try to create one using Ms. Publisher even Adobe Dreamweaver, and too bad that both of them didn't work for me. (My job desk is to create the web, while my team mates collecting the data).

So, by the recommendation from one of my friend, I try to create a simple website using Wix.

For the progress, we collect some data about Yogyakarta City by visiting Anjungan Yogyakarta at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah and collecting another data from the internet.

This is the snapshot of the WIP website:

And this is the Final Website

For the BGM of the website, I used "Suwe Ora Jamu", a traditional song from Central Java (because Yogyakarta City is located on Central Java)

Burning Flame with Fume FX

This is one of my favorite creation :D Another college's project for Technology of Animation's subject (My 6th Semester in University. The main goal for this project is to create an animation using 3D Max's Fume FX (an additional plugin for 3D Max).

While making this project, somehow I suddenly thought about a wizard who wanted to eliminate his foe. SO, he decided to trick his foe by dragging his foe into a dark room. After that, he began to cast some spell and burnt his foe inside a flame circle.

For the inspiration itself, actually came from  "Akuma wo Yobisouna Igirisu no Uta (Marshmallow Song)" (Hetalia OST.-Arthur Kirkland Character Song.) Sung by Sugiyama Noriaki. Because when my teacher assigned me for this project, I kept listened to that song :))
That's why I also used that song as the BGM for this short animation. For the character, I used Low Max, a human-like model for 3D Max.

For the flame circle, I used After Effect for masking and Fume FX (for 3D Max 2009) to generate the fire. Then for the finishing touch, I used After Effect (again) and Adobe Premiere for inserting the BGM music.

Here for the final result:

Motion Graphic

If the previous video was about my first try using After Effect, now in this video, I will post my first attempt result using Cinema 4D (C4D) software.

For the BGM, I used "Swan Lake" (Audition Game version)

I used basic shape in C4D, then clone it and animate it. For the finishing touch, I used some effect from After Effect and Adobe Premiere for inserting the music.

P.S: Sorry for the low quality video image because I had to compress it so it can be uploaded due to my internet connection speed >,<"

First Try Using Adobe After Effect

This is my first attempt using Adobe After Effect CS3 and this is for my university (School of Design) campaign. Actually, for me, it's kinda "lame" because what I did is just combining some footage that I found on the net (I'm sorry where I found them because this video was made when I'm on my 4th semester on university (currently, when I create this blog, I'm already graduated from my university and earn a degree as a Bachelor of Fine Arts) :D

So, this is my first video that I made using After Effect CS3:

For the BGM I used Harvest Moon: Back To Nature OST.

Movie Poster Look-A-Like

This is one of my university's project for the Computer Graphic 2 subject (2nd Semester in University). The project is to create a movie poster based on the cinema's movie poster with some "twist". As the reference, I used "Enchanted" (Disney, 2007) because during that I time, I was s big fan of that movie (though until now I guess?) :D

So, this is the original movie poster as the reference:

And this is the finished result that I've made:

When making this "twisted" movie poster, I asked 3 of my friend to become the models and they are Alex, Sandy and Heri to replace the position of Prince Edward, Giselle, and Robert Phillip. And Queen Narissa's position was replaced by me. Well, my poster concept is about a girl who like to take some candid photographs of those three boys, a group of Idol Singer. (yeah, in short I was a stalker in my movie poster). For the title it self, I change it ito "Encandid" (it don't have a specific meaning though) and for the fonts, I used basic brush with selection tools to make the shape looks like the original movie poster fonts look.

The poster was made using Adobe Photoshop CS3.
