How I Create Some of My Works-Painting

To be honest, it's almost a year for me not to create some digital arts (due to a lot of university's projects deadline and some stuffs I had to do).

Fortunately, I still have "my drawing style" (I dunno whether it's good or not) like before.
Like usual, I like to draw the sketch and color it using Paint Tool Sai, because for me, it's more easy for sketching and painting. The brush pressure is easily to control then using Photoshop (but, it's up to some people personal taste).

HOWEVER for this time, I'm not draw my sketch using Sai, but on a piece of paper using a pencil. After that, I scan it and color it using Sai. For the finishing touch, I use Photoshop.

NOTE:

1. Clean sketch (traditionally drawn or digitally drawn, it's up to you). 

I can draw in both way, thought I personally prefer to draw a sketch in a traditional way. If it is a traditionally drawn sketch, make sure that you have cleaning it first before continue to the next step.

2. Coloring 

In this step, I done all the coloring (from base color until the shading)

3.Finishing Touch

I did this step using Photoshop. Usually, in this finishing touch session, I will add some background (if the original sketch don't have a background) or some brush effect and text.

For this piece of drawing, I want to make "a recycle art" looks, so I decide to make it looks like it had been drawn on a piece of crumpled paper. :) 

Low Poly Modeling Reel

This is my university's project for 3D Modeling Subject.
The main issue here is to create a low poly model. As a reference, I use Strike Noir Gundam (from Gundam Seed: Stargazer).

However, the low poly model that I created was not exactly the same as the original Strike Noir Gundam because my lecturer told us to make some "modification" for the model.

So, my "Strike Noir" version, has a modification on it's wings and some parts ot it's body I made more simple than the original one.

I use 3D Max 2009 for modeling the low poly while some details are created using Z-Brush and some texture (decals) are made using Photoshop.

Compositing and finishing done in After Effect and Premiere.

Fixing a Broken Heart?

Well, I was "OK" when I create this post actually :))

The title of this post is about w video that I made during my university's day. One of my university's project.
The main issue for this project is about using Rayfire plugin (a plugin for Autodesk 3D Max) in the project, whatever the outcome is.

So, I decide to create a video for anyone who has been betrayed by someone they trust.

I used Rayfire to "break" the heart shape,a simple animation for the texts and some camera movement to make it looks dynamic.

For the background music, I use Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"
